All in one day!

Here is a typical day of a " mamipikin "

   My son turned 5 Yesterday and I think daddy and I had a little too much fun the night before celebrating in a manner that only a true "mamipikin" will understand (haha i can hear you all laughing), so i woke up quite tired and exhausted at 6am. I woke up tired and had to say a long prayer asking God for that extra strength he gives us when we need him most.

  I had to take the kids to school, Take my son to his birthday lunch, take my tornado 2 year old to picture day at school, will not miss my Zumba class, a meeting with a prospective client,birthday present shopping , mommy duties, wife duties just to name a few................
 

   Please do not sweat the small stuff. The best way to stay young and exciting as a mami pikin is to enjoy the little moments that you get.I took picture day too serious and ended up with a headache from all the crying 2 year olds in Anaris class. (who sent me there in the first place?). The photographer couldnt stop laughing at the fact that i brought some extra outfits for a school picture and we could barely get Anari to even sit down long enough for one shot.

     At the end of the day this mamipikin will not be left behind. I share this experience because i want to encourage someone who might just need to know that they are not the only mamipikin looking for a butler, driver, and personal assistant ( a girl can dream cant she?) With all that said I love being a fabulous mamipikin and will not trade that for the world, Neither will i be left behind . :)

Sandra Kemayou....... Birthday LOVE................

Huge Birthday Shout out to Sandra Kemayou, wife to my Brother Andy and mother to my Sons ; Ethan and Noah.

    If You know Sandra then you can understand how blessed we are to have her as part of our family. She is Kind, sensitive, God fearing, very loving , very patient, very dedicated to her family, and quite ambitious. This Mamipikin is smoking hot and has even started a weight challenge group on Facebook which is such a great source of support to women who are trying to stay fit.

The funniest story when i met Sandra, I immediately started calling her "my inlaw" because i knew my brother was finally going to settle down...( haha he will kill me ) Sandras mom  who is francophone thought that i was saying " my sister in the Lord " hahaha and the day she figured out we laughed so hard! 

  The biggest mission that Sandra carries out is a Bi-weekly prayer line called " children of destiny " .
Here is a little background on this very special group that has changed lives and given some of us a platform to share the unadulterated word of God.

Hopes for no school....crushed :(

Monday comes after Sunday all the time!

That smile makes everything better.

   I crawled into bed last night after a somewhat busy and exciting weekend ( to say the very least  haha ). So typically we have a calender on the fridge that gives us the daily schedule. I am telling you if you go a day without looking at the calender you could loose track of the entire week because each day directly relates to the next.HOWEVER!!! Last night i did not look at the calender with hopes that there was no school, i thought today was a holiday especially since i have a couple of sales to catch, Once i can drag my self out of this bed.
 
   But oh No today was a school day, My 6 year old daughter who is the main "diva" in this house was quick to wake us up with her usual interview ........

" Did you buy my lunch because i am not eating lunch from home, and mommy can i not hold my hair up, and mommy can i wear a skirt to school today, and mommy can i ride my bike after school, and mommy why did Aberi sleep in your room, and mommy why do you call daddy baby, and mommy how come i never help you at work ...and mommy this and mommy that "

Ohhhh lawd this child can talk!!!!!!!!!!!!!No surprises there  right?  but ohhh jeez she is like me on steroids... I told her there was no school but she rushed to the fridge brought the calender and read it out loud ..... 

" Open house for parents today from 9:30am to 11 am "  ... the next hour in my house was busier than the Union Station in Washington, Dc. 

 

 Everyone made it ok!

" Tea Party on the porch " and then some........

NEED SOME TIME AWAY??????????
   I love my children with all my heart... The Lord knows i do, but sometimes i need a break and i have come up with all kinds of ideas to have keep us both happy. My kids love themed events (no surprise there huh?) ...like their mama...well except my son who absolutely HATES parties...haha oh but thats a story for another day.

  On this sunday I had come back from an event and needed some rest and quiet time with hubby, so I grabbed the kids ran to my mom and while i rested they had  a " tea party " on the porch.
Of-course you can set this up indoors as well but why waste at least an hour of quiet time and great weather?

Netty Phillip: Nettys Fab weekend on the runway.

   Netty is a fabulous mother and wife. I  mean this woman has 4 kids. Can you even imagine ? she looks gorgeous. Every "mamipikin"  should make time for those fun things you used to do before having kids.

   So this weekend, I had the pleasure of reliving one of my dreams...I got to do what I always loved to do best. MODELING! I was asked to rip the runway for my brother in law, at the showcase of his musical play in Brooklyn NY. How exciting it was to go back to what I know & love! I kept it classy and sexy at the same time. I give God the glory for giving me the grace to love & care for my 4 children & husband & STILL be able to enjoy the life HE blesses me with everyday! God is good.

    My Name is Eurykah. I am commonly called Eury by those who know me , "Sis" to a few who consider me more than just a friend, "Boh" to some very select few. ( "Boh" In Cameroon women call their close friends or sisters Boh).  " Bosslady " by some and many more titles. I am a mother of 3, wife and sister to many. I am Originally from Cameroon and currently reside in Washington Dc.

  I am a Mother and event planner by day and a wife by night haha.

   I love  Dancing, shopping , family time , planning events, decorating , and I have  a serious Knack for perfection. Quick tempered but my heart always means well.

    Anyways I decided to start this blog  "nomamipikinleftbehind"meaning ( No mother will be left out of the fun times happening in todays world )  because I needed to share the reality show of what being a mother is, and the fun that comes along with it.
